Lord, I live in a world of tension, dynamic change and argument. An academic world which tries so hard to understand and make plain the things of the world which are worrying, complex and contradictory. And in the process, we often fail to sort things out and speak plainly. As we set out on Lenten journeys which will be as different as the faces of my sheep, yet judged common, help us to speak clearly about your love, pray clearly about our need for you, act clearly in the face of fear and conflict.
